Music Against the Machine kicks off Thursday, October 22nd at the Splinter Collective with performances from Big City Sleep, Hank Abbey & the Pearl Snaps, and Guttertown. Splinter Collective (901 N 13th Ave) is an incredible local art collective and event space in the Dunbar Springs neighborhood. Doors open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm. This is an all-ages event with a cash bar.
Once you’ve checked out the 10 tabling vendors and organizations, we invite you to take a stroll across the street to the Cressworth C. Lander Auditorium at Dunbar Pavillion (325 W 2nd St), where Desert Dispatch is showing The Mirage: Inhumane Tech in the Silicon Desert. The 15 minute film will start at 6:45pm, so you can make it back to Splinter for Big City Sleep!
Music Against the Machine runs from October 22-26 and will feature local musicians, artists, and vendors who strongly oppose data centers in the Sonoran Desert. Come out and join your community in resisting big tech and the surveillance state!
$10 – $20 No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds
Tickets are by donation and will be split 50/50 between No Desert Data Center Coalition and the performers.
